I got a 100% kick-ass product laptop.   Yea mang.  It's really my Christmas present to myself.   I've been looking at the raider laptops for over a year.  But this one put me over the top.   I got a good deal as well.  1500 USD.    It's really super very noice.    I'm not supposed to open it until Christmas Eve tho.   See how that holds up.    I mean it takes alot of time to download and install all the games.

I would not be able to wait that long to open and set it up, lol. Good luck to you. ;)  And nice deal!

Yea for some reason the price drop was 500.  I was like.  Yea, ok.  Well, at the end of the day.  500.  Isn't that much.  It's still some much.

$500 is a quarter of the price. That's pretty damn good for a high end laptop.

Dude there's nothing better .   Be brave and ask a random girl to come to your place to watch a movie. Or at least ask for her digits.   Good luck my man.

that is just too creepy, you dont want to be creeping out women upon first contact, that is a big no no

just gotta make small talk with them, ask them a few questions, compliment them on their nice smile, ask them if they want to grab a coffee, then get their digits

Am I doing this right Mr. Moderator?

  • I've already started using the monitor ($260) and the 2070 Super ($500) with my old system (Intel 4th Gen) and damn 1440p 144Hz is sweet.
  • The PSU was a free replacement from EVGA as my last one buggered off.
  • The H115i is definitely overkill for the 3700X but it was $85 so I figured it would cover me if I upgrade my CPU later on.
  • The 4TB external was $60 and just for backups
  • Logitech G502 SE ($35) to replace my old G9x
  • Senheiser PC 37X headset ($75) to replace an old Corsair headset that was disintegrating
  • Ryzen 7 3700X ($280) thanks Micro Center ?
  • Gigabyte Aorus Elite WiFi X570 ($150) thanks again Micro Center ?
  • G.Skill Ripjaws 32GB 3600 CL16 ($125) also at Micro Center ?
  • Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 ($85) with some Amazon and Discover card hocus pocus :D

The processor from my very first self build has now been immortalised in Resin. The "purchase" being the resin, so that's why i'm posting it here :P

Hmmmm, you just gave me an idea of what I want to do with my previous 5960X J Batch that is dead.

Curious, did you use a dump mold method?  Or, just foam board glue together to hold the resin until it is cured?

Well, Finally moving house, so getting into "smart" multi-room audio! Just need to buy wall mounts, Either build or buy a suitable rack for tonnes of home theater/multi-room audio gear, and buy an 8 channel amplifier, Most likely going to be the Emotiva A-800

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)
