Got two games today: Forza Horizon for the Xbox 360 and Driving Emotion Type-S for the PlayStation 2.

Eqpph.png

This game was released within the first month the PS2 was out in Japan. It got delayed for... quite a while, actually, for its European and North American releases, in which the game was improved compared to the initial Japanese release.

This game's also on a CD, which means it makes a ruckus when trying to read off of the disc. This game's also ~504MB, so at least it makes sense for it to be on a CD.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

Bought an RGB 'Aorus' GPU brace to finally satisfy this RGB craze I've been laboring under. That's it, no more RGB stuff!  While I was installing it, I realized that my case already has a built-in GPU brace, how the heck did I forget that?! Did I subconsciously 'forget' it so that I'd buy the brace? All I can say is, the mind works in strange and oft baffling ways.

Here you go....

https://www.lazada.sg/products/custom-made-acrylic-bracket-use-brace-gpu-card-rgb-light-size-280456-mm-fix-video-card-compatible-aura-system-12-v-rgb-i311854833-s569780630.html?spm=a2o42.pdp.recommendation_2.1.e23879deY0ev6K&mp=1&scm=1007.16389.126158.0&clickTrackInfo=77d64848-6c34-42e6-97f3-cff83478c971__311854833__10002889__trigger2i__124582__0.478__0.47788215__0.0__0.47564322__1.15E-4__0.47789365__0__1__PDPV2V__244__null__null__0__

You can message the seller and ask for a specific GPU brace from the list of braces he has, otherwise, the default ROG brace is sent. I'd messaged him, asked for a Aorus one  before ordering, he'd noted what I'd wanted and sent me the correct brace. Very helpful and prompt with his responses, you can ask for 3pin or 4pin connector, or even let him know what mobo you have and he'll send you the appropriate connectors. Heck, I'd told him I wanted a 3pin connector to go with the extra connector for my Lian Li Strimer controller, but he had included a regular 3pin to flat 3pin adapter as well.

I'm pretty happy with the way my rig looks now, I know I went a bit overboard with RGB and it can also be a tad gaudy, but I love it!

Needed a new mouse pad because my Goliathus was fraying severely (and driving me nuts). Then for some reason, my trusty SteelSeries Siberia v2's stopped working and had to replace those too. Decided to get the mouse pad because I've been eyeing it anyway for a long while (and it's anti-fray). Went with the VOIDs as a stop-gap for now. Will probably spring for Sennheisers or Focals during the holiday season.

Did you see the two new headsets Corsair dropped recently? The voids were revised! And they have a new one that Jaystwocents reviewed and he liked a lot! Check corsairs website my dude, might want to return the void pros and wait till a local store has the upgraded version of the voids in stock.

Thats kinda disappointing, disc would have been nice for people with slower internet. As it is unless you like collecting game cases its just as handy to buy on epic.

I remember when GTA V came on 7 discs and it saved me days of downloading, would be nice if that was still a thing

Picked up a Silverston Raven RV05B-W last night for $40. In pretty good shape, just needs a good cleaning. Love the bottom-up airflow in this case, best cooling-optimized design I've seen on the market. One of the main reasons for grabbing this was for the dual 180mm Silverstone air penetrator fans, which sell for $35 each on Amazon.ca alone. They look so beefy next to a typical 120mm fan, lol.

Have some big plans for this case. All the plastic components unscrew from the core steel chassis. Let the modding begin... :D

Bought Borderlands 3 and another RGB mouse, fallen down the slippery slope of RGB I have!

I don't think it's a slippery RGB slope. It's just that it's getting all but impossible to buy a decent mouse/keyboard and so forth without it.  At least you can turn it off if you choose.

I despise RBG lighting for the most part... But it's nice having a backlit keyboard as I often sit at the computer without any lights on... Partly because my home office has these horrible spotlights that are way, way too bright and I won;t change the light fitting until I redo the room in the new year. Cannot stand it when it's all over the case though..  But to me a computer is a tool, not a fashion accessory and my case sits on a platfom down the side of my desk and not on top of it blasting a multicoloured vomit inducing non stop stream of light into my face to distract me.

Well, mine sits on the floor so the multi-colored light show is not seen unless I look down.  My keyboard and mouse are RGB and I enjoy the small light show they give in a darkened room.
