it's a good air gun. I plan on taking the limiter out, even though it's already 400FPS. This thing dents PC case metal like it's foil. And not the cheap Rosewill shit either. You know how heavy Dell makes their cases, because of how thick the metal is.

Xbox 360 controllers FTW. I've gotten almost a dozen at em at the goodwill and they make wonderful HTPC controllers. There's a "mod" you can do to the dpads to make them suck less too, basically you just cut a circle of plastic (like from a coffee can lid) and place it under the dpad, makes them clickier and more satisfying. There's guides out there if you're interested.

I just offered $14.50 on a lot of VeggieTales tapes. All because I wanted one of the tapes in the lot.

That specific tape is the 1999 retail release of the episode Larry-Boy and the Fib from Outer Space, a tape I've been trying to scout out for a long time.

This is what happens when your planned 2000 subscriber special is the opening and the closing to one of my favorite episodes.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

Was gonna buy Bloodborne for my PS4 but my wife thought we needed some new "professional" ice cleats for when we go winter hiking (WE NEVER DID THIS ONCE EVER). But you know the drill—so I did some research, found some good ice cleats (here) and found some good deals on amazon. I am now a proud owner of two pairs of ice cleats that can be used for ice fishing!! Hahaha.

What a day.

Not sure if you know this or not because you say you love guns but say 5.56 isn't small, but .22 caliber is small. .223/5.56 typically goes up to 90gr. @fluxdeity I believe you have taken the conversation we had, out of context. @Drak3 comment wasnt about the round size. And just so you know the 5.56 round can be up 155 grain ... it's just not common in the civilian market...

Correct.

@Drak3 and I finished our discussion via PM so as not to derail the topic by turning it into a gun thread.

Image result for antec 900

Not mine exactly, but was too lazy to take a pic. For anybody who cares, an NDH 15 does fit in an Antec 900! Only just, but it does.

Also cable management is a nightmare in this case, you need custom cables to have a chance of making something decent. Right now it's a mess in mine ?

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

I'll be able to continue my project once this gets here.

My 480 is having some issues, basically it's failing.  I got it used for $90 like right after the mining crash, so it's not like I'm out a bunch.  I decided to get the AMD anniversary edition 590, cause why not, cool piece of computing history IMO.

Found a good deal on a 16GB kit of ram.  3000MHz, I'll finally be off of 2133MHz.  I eventually am planning to switch my board to a better board and maybe upgrade to a 2600 once Ryzen 3 drops (assuming prices go as low as they did when Ryzen 2 dropped.  Like, Micro Center had 1700s for $100 at one point.  If I can end up getting a 2600 or even 2700 for $100, hell yeah)

ram.PNG.c7436511d07d750123dc82d1ca3a270f.PNG

Decided to try that coffee.  I keep seeing it in all the ads, so I figured why the hell not.  I'll give it a shot.

These are called vixen files. They are designed to be non-clogging when filing softer metals, such as lead, brass, or aluminum, but work surprisingly well on mild steel. The curved tooth design helps to force metal shaved off to be expelled from the teeth as more metal is shaved off. They also can give a surprisingly smooth surface despite the coarse teeth.

I already have an old 10" vixen file that my Daddy gave me decades ago (no telling how old it was when I got it) but it was finally getting a bit long in the tooth (pardon the pun) so I bought these; an 8" and a 14".

Just be careful how you use it.  I tend to have the USB port about 2 feet from the controller, with the entire cable hanging.  That kinks the cable between the rubber sleeve at the controller and the weight, causing it to fail eventually.  A friend of mine has the exact same problem.  We usually need to replace ours after about a year and a half.

Anyway ...

I've been having some audio issues with my webcams' mics either sounding bad (Logitech c900) or failing (Microsoft HD-6000 from somewhere before WWII), so I figured I'd up my audio game.
