Bought a set of Comply Comfort eartips for my Fitear Parterre and Campfire Audio Jupiter (both seem to use the same size eartips), a HDMI cable capable of 4k @60Hz (all my previous HDMI cables were were up to a max of 4k @30Hz). Also bought a WD My Passport 256GB SSD because it was going for a song.....

I've actually never encountered an hdmi cable not capable of 4k60. All the random junk cables I have around can do that.

Or does windows give you the option to do 60hz even when it actually can't?

Always wanted Gears of War 1 and 4 for PC, but the price and potential issues bothered me. I was checking on the MS Store and saw that they were both on sale, and I figured the savings overrode the potential issues I might have with it. Downloading though it's gonna take a while to complete both downloads.

@FloRolf I'm embarrassed to say that all my previous HDMI cables are quite old, they may not meet with the requirement for 4k @60Hz. I don't recall buying any HDMI cables for years now, so what I have are ancient by today's standard.

You've tried 4k60fps and it didn't work, or you assume they're not capable since they're old? As long as it's high speed, which is 99% of the cables made since 2009, it can handle 4k60fps. I have HDMI cables that are every bit of 7-8 years old that I push 4k60 through.

Heh, the thing is, mine may be even older than those.around the launch of XBOX 360 because it was around that time that I got into BR players and FHD (1080P) TV's. Bought a number of cables then (including Straightwire), and didn't bother after. This was when BR was up against HD DVD (bought an XBOX HD DVD ROM as well) and a set of Monster componenet cables for the XBOX 360. Back then, getting 1080P was the shizznizzle....

Not exactly my own purchases, but the first bout of (likely the last) xmas shopping where I'm given a $1,000 budget to get basically whatever I want.

The main goodies.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

V-MODA Crossfade II Wireless? I have that, same colour and all. It's a wonderful headphone, and well worth the $300+ I spent on them, but I ought to tell you... if you plan on using them wirelessly a lot, audio quality is noticeably worse than wired because of a missing codec. Bizarrely, that codec (I forget the name) is only offered in the rose gold colour option.

I intend on running them wired 90% of the time.
