Wrong thread pyo. The thread about garbage is over there, pyo.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

So after dealing with the same shitty old ass office chair for over a decade i decided it's time for an upgrade!

It's also kind of a reward for myself for just finishing my fucking bachelors thesis and therefore degree, yay!

Here we go, the chair i opted for is the relatively new Noblechairs Icon in black/platinum white made of pleather. It's a newish german brand and known for awesome quality chairs with their first Epic-Series. However i didn't want to go full racecar and the Icon looks more like you are driving a luxuries Mercedes ;)

And at roughly 400€ it's also quite luxuries :D The real leather version is actually almost 600€, but i'm a vegan hipster that doesn't do crossfit so just pleather for me.

Photo of the *insanely huge and heavy* packaging. It somes in at 31kg so about 60pounds.

Spoiler

2DMBLQP.jpg

You get it half assembled so you gotta do some stuff yourself but it only took me 30minutes alone. The manual recommends two people but you can do it by yourself if you don't have any friends *cries in corner*

And here is a comparison with my old chair where you can see it was a well worth upgrade!

Spoiler

Quick thoughts:

It's epic! No wait, it's ICONIC! I really dig the design, the feel of the material and the built quality. While it does have some weaknesses, it's still perfectly fine for the pricepoint.

Gotta say that i love the 135° layback feature and the tilting mechanism, which just makes chilling with music super comfortable.

The whole thing is a little on the stiff side but you get used to that pretty quick (i sit on it for what, 3 hours now?) and it warms up pretty fast aswell.

So all in all right now the first impression is a 10/10. If you have any questions, hit me up.

Something a bit more jolly than university books

Bonus question: How do you know you're dealing with a sleazy business?

When they ship your order of a T-shirt and a tape with four condoms (all of which are too small, of course).

The only thing I wanted for my birthday: A Snap-On ratcheting screwdriver.

All that's left for ratcheting screwdrivers is to give the Wera 816 RA a shot, but I don't need to get it right now.

Hah, you think that is big? Think again.

Also half-assembled in the packaging. Took me about 2-3 hours to put together alone, though. Can you guess what it is? ?

Do you also live on the 4th floor with no elevator? :P

I'd say it's a desk.

A pair if 4GB RAM sticks to get the dell I got up to 12GB since I'll be transplanting most of the upgrades from the refurb PC which had a hard drive failure over a week ago into the dell.

When one gets a raise, one needs to reward oneself.  I've been wanting a laptop for a long time and specs were just perfect, plus swag and rebates. snagged this for just over $1k vs 1600 for the standard black version.

I actually like it.  Initially it was a way to save a buttload on this laptop, but it's kind of grown on me versus every other black or silver laptop.
