An Update From Corsair About The RGB Keyboards...

Gould-Digger

hey guys, i can't wait for the K95 RGB to have an announced release date, i really want it with brown switches but despite what the one Corsair representative said i really don't think they are going to do anything but MX reds

also to the people who think they didn't change anything, on their facebook a Corsair representative claimed they found the problem and fixed it

It says it's available in your choice of keyswitches, i kind of assumed that means the k70 RGB will come in any of the three, but i will hold out and wait for the K95 to come as its going to be my first mechanical keyboard

I get the feeling there are talking about the old LEDS vs these new ones, not something with the RGB LEDs

RIght. What he means is that he thinks they are referring to the new RGB LED configuration fixing the problems that were causing LEDs to burn out in previous versions of the K70/K95 (specifically the issue of ESD, from what I hear).

As opposed to Corsair discovering an issue with their new RGB LEDs, fixing that, and then declaring that to be fixed in that facebook post.

yea i mean't that the new RGB LEDs are superior (according to that Corsair representative) not that they fixed a problem they were having with the RGB LEDs

You think $190 CAD is bad ? In the UK it costs £140 which comes out to $250 CAD, not looking forward to the K95's pricing :(

Really excited to get one of these RGB keyboards.

For those of you getting the K95. What do you use the extra macro keys for?

I have a logitech g110 atm but my keys are starting to get mushy so im waiting for the k95 RGB with blue keys to come out.

I use my macro keys as program shortcuts for programs, and use them for gaming as well. (like binding GLHF to a key)

Its just easier to have couple of extra keys in stead of combining the default ones.

Convenience is worth the extra money IMO

Welp

The Corsair site is messed up for pricing. Wouldn't bother using it.

So is it only the k65 exclusive to Best Buy? Cuz I'm waiting for k70 in brown switches but I prefer to buy from Amazon or the Corsair webstore directly.
