Crystal Disk Mark is one of the best drive benchmarking tools.

My sound system costs more than my PC.        Check out my S340 build log "White Heaven"        The "LIGHTCANON" flashlight build log        Project AntiRoll (prototype)        Custom speaker project

Its really not. Atleast not for SSDs anyway.

AS SSD is the way to go for SSDs

They all give you about the same speeds though...

If stopped looking at the sequential speeds, you'll see there are differences in favor of 850pro

???

wtf are you talking about? What does my comment have to do with an 850pro?

All I said was that all SSD benchmarking software will give you the same speeds. This has nothing to do with what SSD it is >.<

*facepalm*

Not true at all. Crystaldiskmark can yield vastly different results if 0/1-filll is used (thats what you're currently using).

as ssd on the other hand shows you the real number, as its using random data by default.

If you set the settings the same on both programs it will give you the same result. Obviously if you are not testing them the same way it will be different....

Then set the data to random in crystaldiskmark to see the real results. What you're getting is pretty Rediculus for a 120GB drive and only shows compressible data is used.

Are you talking to me? Or are you talking to the OP?

Because just FYI I am not the OP.

I'm talking to the OP.

Results are not consistent with this drives real performance.
