by the pcb being frozen by the ln2 thats cooling the core. the cold spreads.

Bought some shit for some dry ice GPU benching :)

 

A GTX 480 off ebay, good price IMO, 64$ shipped and I only had to spend $57 since I had some cash-back rewards money to spend.

Voltage control up to 2v, will 100% kill it if I push that much though lol.

I did ice water one session , was amazing af idles were 10c LOL. Load was around 48

Im not sure if it's fully stable, but I played games yesterday and ran cinebench 10 times as well as XTU a few times.

PC has been on this volt @ 5ghz for about 10 hours now, no crash

Holy mother of god, i am stable only at 1.45v on 5ghz on my 4790k :(

I should be ordering a 6700k tomorrow from Silicon Lottery if all goes well I'll be getting the 4.8 Ghz chip from him.

 

 

Once I re-pin my 24 pin with the yellow wires, I'll probably update the build log again with more pictures.  Sorry it's been dead for a long time guys.
