 I talked to a guy on overclock.net, and he's going to make me two Yellow LED PCBs for my Gigabyte 970 G1's, it will replace the Blue LED's that are in it right now with yellow.

 

Then I'm going to color my clear light bars from my Dominator Platinums yellow as well.

I got a fancy sharpie at the craft store, and colored the Dom Plat light bars yellow, I will put them in shortly and show you guys if you care at all

 

 

 

 

 

Do you guys like this?  I had two swiftech helix's that came with my H220, I painted them to match the Dominator Platinums. I like it quite a bit, I'll have to put it on the H220 once I get everything together and see if it looks decent in the build.

Yeah was super easy.

 

On the back there is a rubber "plug" you take the rubber plug off, and there's a small C clip on the fan "axle"  you take the c clip off, and the blades slide ride out.

 

Then when you put it back together, you simply put the clip back on once it's all together, and put the plug back in then the sticker over it.

It's called "Rust-o-leum" paint, and it's the chrome finish.

 

But yeah it does look slightly like nickel, it matches the dominator platinums really well!

 

 

 

I'll be back later I have to go to walmart and get stuff, then I should be able to put the fans & dominator light sticks in.

Hey guys, the guy making the custom windforce LED strips for me to replace the blue ones told me on Friday that they should be ready this week.

He'll be sending me a video showing how they work etc, I'll show you guys the video when he sends me it!

 

 

Also, the H220 mounting hardware will be here tomorrow, it's in my city post office right now, sucks they didn't get it on a truck to deliver it today .

 

I also ordered the cables from icemodz last week for the second 970, those should be here within the next few weeks I believe, depending on the shipping he sends em with.

 I cannot wait to get rid of these dam red cables!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I was planning on an ikea desk for sure the custom "build your own" stuff. There's a store like 40minutes away!

I never got a chance to finish painting, because my desk is attached to the wall, I was going to wait until I got the ikea desk and then rip my setup apart and finish painting.

 

But ~90% of the room is painted, my setup is a little different now, with an o2+odac and a pair of LCD-2's, and I only have one monitor now, my PB278Q.  I will take more pictures of my setup once I get my desk hopefully.
