PC Noise And Vibrations

Rohit Jackdaw

I have a CM Elite 431 Plus Case with 1 front intake, 1 rear exhaust and 2 heataink fans. Today I decided to put on an another bottom intake 120 mm fan and I did so. But after that my whole table and case starts feeling vibrations(Previously it was there but now increased over the limit) and same about noise even without any load. Except the front intake fan all other fans are plugged directly onto the board. I haven't tried to control them yet. Which software should I use ? Even without any load the fans run at full speed and other than controlling the fans what else can I do ? Thanks.

Are all your case fans PWM (4-pin)? If so, SpeedFan would be a good place to start... Otherwise, try getting a hardware fan controller...

My fans are CM Sickleflow LED ones and one fan exceptional is Hyper 212 stock fan.

I looked it up... The Sickleflows are 3-pin (with 3-pin to 4-pin adapters... Not sure if they can work in PWM).. Seeing that, I believe that your best bet would be a compatible hardware fan controller... Most are pretty cheap (the analog ones at the very least) while others can be expensive while sporting touch screens, etc...
