Self reassured stupidity, muh favorite

okay give me a couple headsets on the cheaper side and i will test em all, just to reassure "muh"self how enlightened you forum geeks are.

I have no idea what you're aiming to accomplish with this, but the PC350 is supposedly pretty good, you can try any Razer headset to see what bad headsets are, really. Good headsets include the Sennheisers, the HyperX Cloud (aka QPad QH-90), and the Steelseries Siberia v2 (though some might not agree on that one) and then those new and expensive Audio-Technica AG1 and ADG1.

Well dude, that is what I try to convey to these guys. I have no idea who compares 200€ headsets to 80€ headphones and feels like making a point here but whatever, forums ftw.

I think what they're trying to say is even though it's good, there might be stuff that is better for other people, as audio is extremely subjective. And said stuff might even be cheaper. You can't be sure your 350's are the best ever until you've tried every other headset / headphone on the market. But saying "I really like my 350's" is the correct way to do it.

Well I guess people have to know for them selves and when ppl say "this thing is the best" then to my own understanding it means: works well, does not make problems, would buy it again. Ofcourse there are better Hifi headphones for a better "bang for the buck", I mean hell I have spent just 70€ more on my Focal Spirit Pros, which I use for producing, and they are like 10 times more accurate and just from another world.

But I totaly agree with you on "...saying "I really like my 350's" is the correct way to do it.", probably it is how far you can go on forums before trolls will start to bash you from everywhere , sadly.

What I am getting at is that I don't want to pay $150 for a $80 headphone with a mic glued on, I much rather get the identical $80 headphone and then get a shit $5 mic. So I get the same quality, but I spent less. Its just smart economics.

Customize, how?

With their customization tool?

I'd make it more black and carbon.

Are you getting the 600ohm version? I read that the thing is hard to drive.

No less sensitive than 32 or 250 ohm versions.

Requires quite a bit of voltage, no?

Nwavguy used DT880-600ohm as "worst case" for voltage requirement, HE-6 for current requirement when talking about his O2.

True, it'll still reach 105dB without too much fuss tho. Something like the AKG K612 requires quite a bit more power and nearly as much vrms.
