RATE THE PC SPECS ABOVE YOU :)

thetechdude

Rig can be seen at my signature.

Some notes: Reason for the bad HDD is because it was sitting doing nothing and i decided to put it on my rig.

2nd reason is because my case has 2 slots for 2.5 inch drives behind the mobo and i really wanted to remove all the HDD cages for better airflow and aesthetics.

Chose this psu because i had it in my previous rig and i didn't know much about PSUs back then.

Every fan i have is corsair.

Please rate :)

Hello there, I want to share with youy my particular specs of my very singular value rig.

AMD A8-6600K, I manage overclock (and underclock) when I need, to a stable 4,6 ghz.

Gigabyte ga-f2a88xm-d3h.

4 GB X 2 Kingston Hiperx Blue 1600 mhz CL9,

AND a Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 660 2GB GDDR5 OC.

I'm very happy with my sets even I know I don't own the best processor in earth, but does exactly what I want and I like very much especially the price performance ratio of this family of processors, and of course, the aviability of overclocking in almost all their products.

But in thermes of graphics card I prefer the nvidia ones, and this Gigabyte have too a great performance, it comes factory overclocked but if you know how, as I had configurated, I hit the GPU Core up to 1228 Mhz, and up to 1575 mhz in memory clock.

I reviewed the old videos from tests and linus' benchmarks at their umboxings and comparissions and I reach to higher considerable performance numbers.

In conclusion, I have a system that's has exceeded my expectations and I think its quite suitable and capable to run every actual game at high resolutions, obviously ajusting the fine game specs in all cases, And this configuration has brought to me the chance to learn too much things about overclocking, comparing my machine to anothers and learning much more. In short, I'm now more hardware enthusiast than before and better person LOL

The negative point its that de fm2+ platform don't offers support for Nvidia SLI multi-gpu, so, I've been watching the Linus videos of GTX 660 SLI, and I can't go for it with these APU's and being realistic, maybe its not the most accurate cpu for this task.

Greetings,

I like larger cases also that was the only one available from fractal design at my retailer.. and the retailer only had the gene and the hero and personally the gene has much more features. Im going to upgrade my mobo at some point cause im getting another system for video editing and this one is for audio editing and recording.
