For content creation/rendering I assume? 8/10.

That motherboard seems a little over the top. You could have gotten a 6 core instead.

Sound: Custom one pros, Audioengine A5+ with S8 sub.

Yeah, this computer is for rendering videos & content creation.

Motherboard is a little overboard, but it does the job and it's great!

At first I had a simple 8GB. Where I work we take old electronics and recycle them, among those we get PC's so I take a look to see if there is anything i can scavenge off of them if they seem recent enough. Recently I found one with a 1GB stick + a 2GB stick (both DDR3 1333), I had 2 open DIM slots in my system at the time so I figured, hell why not!

9/10.   Took off half a point for the stock cooler and another half because the GFX card is rather weak compared to the CPU.

6/10 - if there was a decent heatsink on the CPU I'd say 7 :D

The GPU and Clockspeed of the i7 kinda pull it down, didn't expect a 760 after the first two segments :P

The SSD gives it a little boost :D

(not that I can complain on that i7 with my crappy FX though - upgrade due with Broadwell) :)

i bought the parts back in 2013 in mid june/july, i'm a relatively broke college student though. last time i actually had money was in december 2014 and that went into my ssd.

didn't say it sucked or anything, just the rating :) I can fully understand why it is how it is. but a rating is a rating and as long as something "better" exists the rating gets lower :P
