At first I had a simple 8GB. Where I work we take old electronics and recycle them, among those we get PC's so I take a look to see if there is anything i can scavenge off of them if they seem recent enough. Recently I found one with a 1GB stick + a 2GB stick (both DDR3 1333), I had 2 open DIM slots in my system at the time so I figured, hell why not!

The GPU and Clockspeed of the i7 kinda pull it down, didn't expect a 760 after the first two segments

The SSD gives it a little boost

(not that I can complain on that i7 with my crappy FX though - upgrade due with Broadwell)
