What is your favorite video game soundtrack?

bchampion96

Ello ladies and gents. I have been listening to the Ace Combat 5 OST for quite some time and it always so magical and special. The songs are very good and powerful.

My favorite song out of them all is Wardog it's just really special it a way that I can't describe with words.

NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER STOP LEARNING. DONT LET THE PAST HURT YOU. YOU CAN DOOOOO IT

'117' from Halo, bliss af, automatically makes you play 10x better in every game. It's also probably the only game song I listen to, other than Dragon Age Inquisition, best/most epic soundtrack ever.

These two also ^^ holy crap shivers man.

Heyyo,

For me? Warcraft 2 had so so many damn good songs! You could even pop the CD into a CD player and listen to the whole soundtrack which was awesome... BUT, I think my favorite video game song is still Command & Conquer Red Alert's Hell March. :)

That would be my RTS pick... for FPS? Probably Unreal Tournament '99 GOTY Soundtrack - Organic... that or Go Down... tough choice! :P

'Butterflies and Hurricanes' by muse from Formula 1 2005. It was the first song that made me want to watch the title sequence every time before playing the game it was that good, and I still love the song to this day.

another halo 3 never forget fan? it is a great song

'117' from Halo, bliss af, automatically makes you play 10x better in every game. It's also probably the only game song I listen to, other than DAI, best/most epic soundtrack ever.

These two also ^^ holy crap shivers man.

the halo 3 never forget stands as the theme for the modern generation of gaming. just like Legend Of Zelda was the theme of the classic generation.

the tune opening starts somber, as the connection from the classic to modern generation of games, from the platformers of old to the modern 3D games. soon, it becomes broad and brave, willing to take on whatever the future holds, as the games of halo helped usher in the modern generation.

This is an absolute masterpiece. Everytime i hear the main theme i feel like i felt back then when i first played the game.

"Well, not even last night's storm could wake you. I heard them say we've reached Morrowind, I'm sure they'll let us go."

I haven't heard much video game song , but I do like this :

Edit : No ... My perfect amound of posts ! it's ruin !

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...

K, here i go, there's a collection of C&C music that is undeniably epic! 90's incoming!!! :P

There are many more in this list, but these are just the most epic imo... ;)

My very favourite out of all of them by far! Best song of C&C, if not of PC gaming entireley:

There are also some really good ones from C&C tiberian sun, however i don't want to spam the thread so I'm going to end here. :)

who cares...

I really like the Trine OST, definitely worth a listen:

And Trine 2 naturally:

I also really like the Dungeons of Dredmor soundtracks:

There are lots of really great game soundtracks, too many to mention really :)
