What is your favorite video game soundtrack?

bchampion96

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles has the best soundtrack (and co-op multiplayer) I've ever heard.

I like the sound track from the game Syndicate and Saint's Row: The Third.

"You Can't Buy Happiness, But You Can Buy Horsepower, And That's Kind of The Same Thing."

The 3rd Birthday/Parasite Eve series: Main Theme.

No, seriously.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/57724819/3-11.%20The%20End%20-Back%20to%20the%20Beginning-.mp3

also I've cried in the game while this music was playing b/c there was a really sad scene... anyways, enjoy.

It's the best of Yoko Shimomura for sure, and i have yet to seen other VGM's that match this. I'll probably find some that do in this thread :D

David Bergeaud, a French guy, also makes some really great video game soundtracks, especially for the Ratchet and Clank series (PS2 once, not the crappy PS3 Ratchet and Clank games). Check his music out too (it's mainly epic): musipolis.com

Not played it but I remember the trailer.

I found it very touching:

FTL has a nice slightly ambient soundtrack: 46:36 is where my favorite begins!

Hotline Miami has a pretty catchy soundtrack:
