How do you Google?

crocski

I'm curious how members here on the forum use google. For example when you looking for information.

Do you

type coherent sentences.

or

Do you

type the keywords that you are looking for.

For example

'How to fix a bicycle wheel'

vs

' fix bicycle wheel'

I'm asking because I've seen people type paragraphs into google expecting to find anything.

BTW I'm the second option.

Which one are you ?

I treat it like tags. Sometimes I write a sentence if it's common.

I just keep typing in random tripe until I get the results I want.

If I wanted to find a "good budget friendly gaming pc for battlefield 4", I'd type "budget gaming pc bf4"

Also the title of this topic made me giggle.

Is it a monkey? Is it an ape? I don't care, I LOVE'EM!

Usually small sentences or some keywords.

Sometimes I google what the answer might be.

Both. For instance, I wouldn't search for "Should I use Google Chrome or Firefox for faster browsing" I would put "Chrome vs Firefox speed test"

a little of both, If it is something i think would be titled the way i would ask it as a question i will use a short question but if it is something that i'm not really sure would be worded the same way i tend to just to keywords

Depends on what I'm searching for.....

If it's an error I'm getting I search the entire error...

If it's a random search only keywords

I always search full sentences as long as not longer than 9 words, and I have never NOT, with my 18 years, found what I was looking for right away.

the problem with that is you first have to google a binary translator (and google doesn't decode binary)
