If were doing selective colour here is mine.

I like your Porsche 8/10.

Ah, I've been too lazy to give selective colour a shot. Should get on that soon - 9/10 because I have a soft spot for classic Minis.

Oh, and Happy Canada Day!

Not really interesting. The selective color does give it a bit more of it though.

Just picked up a Canon T3 for 200 bones. I have the LGG3 aswell, I might return the T3, as this LGG3 takes arguably a better picture. Still, 200 for an entry level DSLR isn't shabby.

Top is T3 full auto. Below is G3.

Canons are pretty bad nowadays. They simply haven't evolved as much as the competition. Not to mention you have quite an old model D: .

I agree, But the price was right, cheap. I know I can get atleast as much as I paid for it If I decide keep it for a while. There are things it can do this phone just can't aswell. More of a test to see how much I would actually use it, then go for a D3300 or there abouts. ;)

id say 7/10. Could have been composed a little better, but nice scene none the less.

I have to say though, while the g3 may look beter right out of the camera, the canon picture can look much better with some post processing. It simply has so much more dynamic range than the g3. Just look at the shadows in the g3's pic. There isnt much detail that is retained.

Here is a pic i took today.

The outside of this church (Monte Matre correct?), is far more beautiful than the inside.  Did you get any photos from the inside?

Nice clean image. Only downside in my opinion is that it isn't the best angle for that type of architecture.

Now for my image, anyone who has ever tried to photograph fireworks knows its a pain in A$$:

I'm content with how some of the shots I got came out. Out of about 30 shots I grabbed, 4 or 5 are good while the rest are 'ok'. I might post some of the other shots later..

Happy 4th of July to you and yours!  8/10  Fireworks can be pretty hard as it all comes down to timing.  With this shot, I wish that there was more space on the left as I feel that the star burst is a little cut off on that side.  That said, I do like that you got the "tails" of the fireworks.  Looking forward to seeing the rest of your shots.

My photo is more of a product shot of a new sheath that I received for my knife.

I really really like this photo, In fact, I'm stealing it for my desktop rotation. If I had a few criticisms, it would be this:

1) Perhaps shoot with a far slower shutter speed?

2) Perhaps shoot with a far faster shutter speed and have patience to wait for any bird to enter the frame. Right now, the pic feels a bit lifeless to be harsh. There is a bird in the far upper right, but else there is no life here,

This is still a very solid 9/10 imo!

Ok (big breath) here's mine for now. It's a scan from dear old 35mm film. The grain is very visible.

7/10. Very calming picture but I do not like the vignetting. Also I think the colours are a bit too muted for me.

I took this photo last year somewhere in the center of Barcelona.

8/10 I like the photo idea and composition, although I see what looks to be like a newspaper or some sort of reflection of a newspaper in the bottom right which is getting on my nerves, otherwise great photo! Here's mine from my day in Chicago, I can't remember what building it is though, it was near the Lyric Opera though, I know that for sure.

I like both images, especially the cloud cover on the second. Though they are rather grainy. I'd say 6.5/10 for them both.

I really like how bold the colours are, I do think it would look 10 times better if the orange cyclist wheren't in it though, thats a bright orange :D 'd say 8/10.

Again on the city theme, I know there are a couple of sploges on it, there was dust on my sensor and I didn't realise :(

feels/feels bro (solid 9/10, dust on sensor is the only real notable reason i can think to not give it a 10).

Here's the best pic my daily driver phone has EVER taken. Maybe grade a bit graciously, since my only two cameras are my "meh" Avant and "meh +6 SIII). :/

That is a lovely picture, it would be awesome if the whole head were in focus though with the one behind it still blurred. All the same getting that kind of image of an animal is challenging. 8/10 :)

Again with the city theme (I had a good trip to NYC :P) taken from the top of the new World Trade Center the week it opened. Sadly it was a bit cloudy when I was up there and then (of course) the sun came out when I left the building! (The image I posted before from the bottom of the building was taken after this).
