Yeah I mean, I just use it for browsing, watching 1080p videos, I've gamed on it like once or twice, it was generally good at it (I'm using it now lol). Idk, I think I would have preferred it to be a quad core, but it works well.

yeah on my laptop it will be used to do programing, watch movies, edit photo and video for school and game, so im prob going to sacrifice weight and battery for those things

Well Idk, the Gaming Lenovo's would be pretty good for that. They have quad-core i5's with dedicated GPU's. It'll cost about 800-900 dollars, but they are pretty damn good.

Don't you have "multi monitor" option in the bios? Even the most crappy mobos ever have, since ages ago. Can't you ask Dell for it? Thats sht really sucks. You shouldn't be disallowed to utilise your hardware like that. I even know of people who had similar problems (asus) and pmed support and they issued him a "modded" bios(a recent one that wasn't available through downloads). Dell should do the same.

I don't remember the context of the conversation, I've owned both amd and intel for cpu's and both amd and nvidia for gpu's, I don't have a preference and usually buy what I feel is best value, except for the i7 obviously, I bought that because I had the extra cash burning a hole in my pocket lol, otherwise it would've been i5 all the way because it's itx and amd don't make an itx friendly cpu worth owning imo.

Maybe I was just ragging on a fanboy somewhere cos they annoy shit out of me and that's all he could come up with?

Honestly I'm not 100% sure, there's that much bullshit flying around this forum and the rest of the net about it and I haven't bothered to do my own research. I suppose if you go off the cinebench scores, intel beats amd quite easily at that.

Problem is, most of the forum members are young and have never experienced the days when amd was king and absolutely smashed intel at everything, hopefully those days will return or at least, amd equals intel, we need them to push each other, at the moment, that's not happening. We need a billionaire to invest into amd's r&d department
