The only thing good about this laptop is its IPS screen, otherwise the y50 would be a way better choice here, slimmer body, overkill design, probably cheaper, and no optical drive, who uses optical drives anyway...

I really like the balanced specs of this laptop plus I am looking for a new LAN rig and a Laptop for school. And I think this is where this fits in quiet good.

And it looks awesome!

My favorite thing about the ROG G550JK is the IPS screen. I am a person that much prefers beauty in my games over performance and you need a IPS display for that. TN panels just cant quite deliver the experience I am looking for.

I can't name one favorite thing. I love everything about it. I would love to have a PC that can run more than 3 tabs at the time, without hating me.

Having a laptop with such a terrible color shift that I could call it a privacy screen, I like the IPS panel on the G550JK.

 

A close second is the name of the laptop.
