It's early in the morning, I can usually do better. Still not too bad though.

Pretty slow with  just 54 to 53 WPM, but is there a way to write a german text? Normaly I am considerably faster. I made quite some mistakes I corrected myself, this took it's time.

Typed  on my old Logitech Internet 350 Keyboard, with nice rubberdome keys.

Edit: Ah yes there is german test, 60WPM there, although the test seems harder. But I learned a new thing you write Känguruh, and not Kängeruh. Always did this mistake in the test. ^^

I took a typing speed test, and with me correcting the errors I made I averaged 65 words per minute. Pretty much bog standard.

That's with a proper tying speed test, one with actual sentences and words that actually make sense, instead of just a massive string of words.

I'm much faster when I'm ranting, or have a buffer of what I'm going to type in my head ready for me to type (instead of copying off of a piece of paper), and when I don't have a time limit placed on my head. That's why I hate typing tests, it's not a good way to test something. If you want to test someone's ability to type quickly, you have to catch them doing it at their peak sustain time and measure it without them knowing.

Maybe the NSA and Microsoft could get that ball rolling...? :D

I hate online typing tests, when am I ever going to read what I'm typing on a computer screen, that's copy pastes job

It's a typing speed-test not a test for how fast you can come up with sentences and type them out.

I didn't think I was actually this fast. Ironically, I'm nowhere near fast enough to type competitively.

Quite surprised, as English is not my native language. :)

Seems that with a mechanical keyboard everything is possible ;)
