What dpi do you use?

scaryjam823

I have a razer deathadder, since I got it I initially had the dpi set to 800. I used the speed it took to get across the screen as a guide, then just upped my sensitivity in games. But since I went dual monitors I upped the dpi. I went from 800 to 1800 dpi and it feels so much better. Don't know how I used lesser. I'm going to try to gradually increase my dpi as I acclimate to it, but anyways what do you guys use?

I alternate my DPI to suit the application is the truth of the matter, so multiple but normally no higher than 1400 in any given situation and that would be desktop.

I use the MarkC mouse fix to stop games from using acceleration because I hate it, my mouse has no prediction either.

most the time i have mine running at 5000.
but depending what game i'm playing or what situation i'm in i will knock it down.
Sniping for instance i will use 800 to 1000 to get steady stocks.
when doing raids in mmorpg's i will use 4000

Windows cursor speed at 6/11, enhanced precision OFF, 800 DPI on a single 1080p screen. Used to use 1600 DPI but I wanted a bit more control so I learned to use 800 DPI. Now I cannot use anything higher at all, feels so uncontrollable. I also use a hard mouse pad so that helps keeping it speedy even at low DPI.  :)

1800 my mouse goes up to 5600. Don't see the need to increase it any further.

1600. I'd have it around 800ish, but since getting into dota I've found I need it higher to pan the camera as needed.

I'm going to try to gradually increase my dpi as I acclimate to it, but anyways what do you guys use?

Don't. You want your DPI as low as possible without becoming impractical. So long as the slowness isn't an obstacle, you want to avoid raising DPI.

I recently lowered my DPI from 800 to 400, and quite like it. I have two 1080p monitors, and use 400 DPI for both gaming and desktop use.
