Is 1920x1200 worth it

I have one 1920x1200 monitor and another 1080p monitor, I like the 1200p one more. So I am looking for another monitor with a resolution of 1200p, but should I get another 1200p one or something higher that beat the price to performance of the 1200p one.

If the 1080p monitor isn't broken, I'd suggest waiting. 4k is getting cheaper everyday--and while 4k won't likely be reasonably priced any time soon, it will drive down the prices of <4k displays.

I personally don't see how the 16:9 aspect ratio won instead of 16:10. And don't go telling me that it's better for viewing movies, because it isn't. Ever notice how there are black bars on (most) movies on a 16:9 monitor/TV? That's because it wasn't shot in 16:9 but rather 21:9, and the extra space on a 16:10 monitor gives you access to the video controls without getting in the way of the video. And for gaming or just general computing, it's always better to be able to fit more pixels in front of your face (provided you have the graphics horsepower to do so).

So, now that I've gotten that out of my system, my vote will always go to a 16:10 aspect ratio, whether that's 1920x1200 or 2560x1600 or whatever the 4k 16:10 numbers are.

No the 1080p one isn`t broken so I`ll probably wait until 4k drives the price down of anything that isn`t 4k and then use the 1080 vizio tv I`m using as a monitor for something like a test bench.
