Intel - "Talk to the Product Marketing Engineer" Live Chat & Giveaway

LinusTech

I have a question!

How do the guys at intel decide how to tackle a product change? When updating older products/making a new chipset do they design a new processor from scratch? Or do they build upon what they already have? Also, how do they choose which aspects of the processor they want to improve?

My Build: Intel Core i5 2500k @4.8GHz, MSI GTX560ti Hawk, Asus P8Z78V-Pro Gen/3, 8GB Mushkin 1866 RAM, Corsair H100, NZXT Tempest

Question: Introduction of stacked DRAM for future CPUs is justified by a need for more memory bandwidth, but currently most benchmarks don't show there's much to be gained from RAM overclocking. Is there truly a need for more memory bandwidth?

I would like to know what products they have in the pipeline for Memristor technology!

I'm really excited about the potential in memristors for low power hyper fast non volatile memory in the crossbar architecture.

My question: Why does Intel include integrated graphics on even their high end CPUs? I feel like I'm paying extra for something I will never use.

Question 2: Will there be more than 4 cores in broadwell i5s?

Questions for stream.

Will Intel try to bring their prices down to a more competitive level for more entry level builds?

Will Intel ever try to improve their stock cooler?

I have a few questions:

1) Why is soldering not an option for Devil's Canyon chps?

2) What was done to boost the base clock by 500 MHZ over the previous iteration, and the non-K model?

3) How long will it be until hexacore and octacore dektop CPUs becomes the mainstream norm?

Read the community standards; it's like a guide on how to not be a moron.

Pretty basic questions here.

What's the difference of devils cpu from the original haswell cpu?

What's the selling point of this product?

OK, here's my question:

Why did you use a sub-par thermal interface in the first place?

Question: Will Celeron be getting the same love and care as the new Pentium?

Gotta find some nice HTPC parts somewhere, and my past experience with Celeron was not positive to say the least.

Why hasn't Intel Iris Pro been seen in more CPUs that aren't used by Apple? I would think the demand from Windows users would be there. I know I use my Intel HD Graphics to power monitors that never do anything demanding or only light gaming.
