They are making a new Fallout game, last I heard. But it will probably end up being bad... :(

I pirated Skyrim originally just to test it out, but I ended up buying it this time because of all the mods and you can't go wrong for $5.  I got both Trine games for $3.74 total, that was a steal. http://store.steampowered.com/sub/28358

I'm still holding out for Rome 2 to drop to at least 66% off and Age of Wonders 3 to at least 50%

@Askew, I think I figured it out. 

It isn't just a matter of getting points. Apparently, you can steal points too. If you look at the daily breakdown for points, there are bars under the graph showing when a team had points stolen from them. I'm not sure how that works honestly. There's no mention of it anywhere else, but it explains how one team can get so far ahead of the others. 

For example, today, Green Team was ahead early on, but then had tons (10,000+) of points stolen from them. It doesn't say who stole them though. I'm assuming it's the other teams.
