Unable to fit my hard drives in my Synology DS411 Slim

Hi,

 

I recently bought a DS411 Slim NAS from Synology, along with two 1Tb WD10JFCX, but I can't make them fit. They go in, but don't connect, and I don't want to force them. I tried with another 2.5" hard drive I had, and it fits perfectly. The WD's are thicker, but they are on Synology's compatible hard drives list.

that is a very weird situation

 

try contacting Synology and see what is their take on this

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Well... I managed to put them in, with a bit more force than the other one, but yeah... just be aware that they don't fit "as easily"
