D Link 6740u bridging

Hello peps, I got an Asus RT-AC68U and I decided to use my old modem&Router combo with it.http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/155860-modems-why/
I talked to tech support and Asked him to help me bridge it, Did it and it still didn't work.
Any chance anyone can help? is it a problem with the bridge or the Asus router?
