Sennheisser PC350SE

xWacko

I consider my self a semi audiophile as i do try to get the best audio when im about and also with my PC any way on to the review.

I have had a few headsets including turtle beach and i would never recommend them again due to the poor build quality that they had.

I have had these for about 4 months maybe more.

When you get the PC350SEs you will notice that they come in a very small box for a headset which i first found strange but then after opening i found out that they fold up in to a very nice hard case (which does not get much use but is a nice case).

Once a had them out of the box and started to play around with them for a while i found it a lot easier to mute the mic but flipping it up and now has just became second nature to me to do so when i get a phone call or if someone walks in to my room this is a lot easier than having to fiddle with a inline controller.

The 350SEs are very comfortable and after you wear them in to the size of your head you dont even notice that you are wearing them.

Noise cancellation is very good on these i find it very hard to hear what is going on around me for instance when i get called for dinner i tend to miss that but that shows how great the noise cancellation is.

Mic noise cancellation is also very good i have not heard anything but the voice being picked up and there is no static what so ever which is very nice.

I have tested the mic on local and it sounds great and i have also heard it over skype, mumble and razer comms all sound amazing (a friend has the same headset).

The sound quality is also amazing i play many FPS games such as BF3 and crysis 3 and you can hear everything and pin point where shots are coming from.

I had only one down side with this headset out of the box with no configuration you will notice that the bass is pretty weak but with some messing around with my asus sound card i now have it so i can feel the booms in game without being to over powered.

Another feature that i would have liked to have seen on such a expensive headset would be the option of a replaceable cable as on most of the headsets that i have owned that is what has broken. On the other hand as the cable on these feel very tough i would not expect these to break any time soon.

All in all for the price these are a great pair of i would say pro gaming headphones/headset as they are great for sound also also amazing for gaming.
