Use

This computer will be a replacement to my current primary computer which is an Alienware M14X from 2010. The computer will need to be capable of basic usage including web browsing, mail and content consumption as well as a high-end gaming and Adobe content-creation (Photoshop, Premier, Illustrator). The machine will need to be future-proofed for at least 6 months with current parts and at least 5 years with less than half the parts replaced.

I like to hear that someone is interested. I'm rather new on the forums, but a long time fan.

Just use the edit button on the bottom of the post.

Instead of the Sabranco you could get a regular one

and plasti-dip it

I can go to my content and click the post to get the link

Clicking the # at the top right of the post will give the link

This build is going to start picking up, like, soon. I will be stopping by Microcenter later tonight even though they're only open for 3 more hours. I'm not sure if they have everything I need but it's worth trying. There will be updates if anything happens.

So it turns out that my PSU may be DOA. I've setup everything properly outside and inside of the case but, there's no sign of life. There's no power (no lights/moving parts). I will replace the AX760.

Well sheeeeeit, the second AX760 is dead too. I was even confident enough to wire everything up nicely before trying it. Now I have to go back and either switch it out a second time or get teh Ax760i. Any thoughts?

OK so, I've got the computer up and running with the parts I currently have (everything except the fans and keyboard). there are temporary fans in place. I had to cancel an order of fans and the keyboard from amazon because they didn't have them in stock so I would have had to wait a while for them to ship. The keybard I'm temporarily using in place of the new one cmming has a hard time registering the letter O . So everything should be here tomorrow.
