i am getting a gtx 780 ghz edition from gigabyte can that handle g-sync?

uh yeah? Why should it not handle it? Its not 3D lol.

im getting a asus rog swift but it has g-sync but my gpu cant handle g-sync is there a way to turn g-sync off in a way i want the screen it

sounds amazing and there is so much hype but i just think that you cant turn of g-sync can you?

A GTX 750 has support for G-Sync, but obviously it can't handle it.

For some reason though, OP has a Radeon 5570.

Why are you getting a G-SYNC monitor if you didn't plan on using it??? Just get a better one without G-SYNC for the same price.

yes it can

 

 

A GTX 750 has support for G-Sync, but obviously it can't handle it.

a 750 will probably benefit from G-sync more than a 780 would

I don't think you know what g-sync is...

ANY nvidia card that supports g-sync can 'handle' it

g-sync does not require any extra GPU horsepower. All it does is make your display run at the fps your GPU is running. This way if your GTX750 is running a game at 23fps you will see 23fps on your monitor, not 15.

It doesn't require any effort form the GPU, you just need it to be driver compatible with the G-Sync controller.

 

You also need Displayport.

it actually would work best on these cards.

I meant that if you spend an extra $300 on a monitor for G-Sync and use a GTX 750, you might as well get a better graphics card. And it pisses off everyone to question their knowledge.

Screen tearing is more noticable on too high FPS. Too low FPS is not as noticable, so a 60 Hz panel would be just fine with a GTX 750 Ti or GTX 760.
