Windows 8.1 Developer Preview released to OEMs

According to Win8China.com, Microsoft gave to OEM Windows 8.1 Dev Preview.

It is build 9391, VR-Zone reports:

 

According to a report by Win8China, a brand new build of Windows, Windows 8.1 Developer Preview Major EEAP Build 9391 has been released to OEMs for testing. Apart from the build number and a special tag of "Developer Preview", not much is known about this new build from Microsoft.

 

We can speculate that this could be the exact build that will be released at Microsoft's Build 2013 developer conference due to its "Developer Preview" tag.

I agree with VR-Zone, that because it is tagged as Developer Preview, it will be released at Microsoft BUILD event for developers. Please note that "Developer Preview" is BEFORE Beta stage. See it as Alpha/Beta mix with missing features, as they are still being worked on.
