Fans for a Radiator

Hello all!

How are you?

Well, I'd be good, but I have a dilemma. I need some fans for a radiator, but the ones I want are impossible to find.

I'd love to use the Scythe Gentile Typhoons, but they're impossible to find.

So I reach out to you LTT, what do you suggest?

NF-F12s seem to be loud-ish, Scythes are impossible to find, and Corsair SP's are loud...

Quiet is very important, and it's for an 80mm thick Radiator.

Please and thank you :)

NF-F12 might be the best bet. I'll see if I can find any cheap-ish GTs.

NF-F12's seem to be the best option.

first time I've ever heard anyone say Noctuas are loud... Consider Noiseblocker, maybe. The eloops are good, but in push only. I personally have some BlackSilent Pro 2(s) and am very happy with them. They push through a 20 FPI rad and do so very well. I get a loud "woosh" sound at 12V (noise from air moving through the radiator, not the fans themselves), but they are silent at 7-8V and still move a good amount of air.

I have three of the Noctuas on the way, so I'll listen to them when they get here, and report back about them...

There was a video that tested Scythes, Noctuas, eLoops, and a few others with quite a few noise meters, and the Scythes won every single time.

I highly recommend Akasa Apache Blacks. They are almost silent even at 100% and have great static pressure. BeQuiet Shadow Wings are also a great option :)

you may have better hearing than me so take it with a grain of salt.

the ap120 that I have and some 121 (newer version I believe) seems silent put it at 7v and be gold.

IMO noctua's are pretty good.

I have 3 NF-F12's coming (Got them from the Classifieds for 15 bucks each), and these 3. I've seen reviews of these, showing that the NF-F12's will be loud :D

Also, I got the last 3 of them that FrozenCPU had :P
