As much as possible, I try to stick with brands I trust. If there's a part from a brand I trust, versus a part of a brand I don't, I will usually always go with my preferred brands.

Some of these brands include:

• ASUS

• Corsair

• Gigabyte

• EVGA

• Samsung

• Razer

• Intel

Of course, there are other great brands I like, but those are the front-runners most of the time. Now, between those 7, I will usually prefer one over the other depending on what component/part I am looking for.

Corsair, EVGA, Logitech, Razer, Noctua, Fiio, Asus, Nvidia - no particular order.

I buy things based on warranty, reliability, functionality, value and recommendations. Things I buy have somewhat to do with aesthetics, but that comes last and is just a luxury - if I have a choice between two items that I have narrowed everything down to, and one looks better to me than the other, I'm picking the one that looks better.

Probably Corsair, Asus, Evga. Most seller are fairly reputable or else they would be out of buisness.

Gigabyte for motherboards. I and others I have known have had so much success with them and no issues whatsoever and you can get fully featured boards at a great price. In regards to power supplies I look for Antec first because they are more likely to offer something of quality but make it affordable unlike SeaSonic. When it comes to memory if I was forced to pick one and they were all the same price I would go with Kingston. They are reliable and have been in the memory business for a long, long time now. In regards to media drives I just buy whatever is cheapest and at times I am not sure if that is a good thing as LG DVD-RW drives at times have been quirky for me. I might try another brand with my next purchase. As for cases I love Cooler Master as to me they make gamers cases for people who love 1st person shooter games. They have this certain look to them that suits these sort of gamers in my opinion. Still with that said when it comes to cases I can see me using other brands as I am really about getting a good price with cases too and will not pay a premium for a case. In regards to video cards I will always choose an Nvidia gpu based card for me but as for the company that makes it well the only company I will not consider is MSI.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

I trust ASUS, especially their Republic of Gamers line ;)

Corsair is a very good brand as well, the k70 is so well constructed! There psu's, cases and ram kits are great as well.

Steel series kinda has bad software but their MLG sensei is nice I'll give them that.

My primo chill reservoir has been leaking non stop but I dropped it and ghetto sealed it with super glue so yeah, maybe my fault.

I currently use 5 Razer products as we speak, and I've gone through around 15 of their products in the past years. Not ONE has broken or ever did me wrong.

Just because you're not willing to pay the premium, doesn't make them bad. Not everyone has the same budgets.

So... Ew @ yourself.
