Build Log Submission Thread! May 2014

Slick

I didn't really have a choice as the giant one that EVGA sells only works for 2 way SLI if there is a dual slot gap between the two cards and on my mobo there is only a single slot gap between the GPUs so I had to use 2 of the 2 way SLI bridges....it actually looks a lot more finished with both on than with one on there and a gap where another could/should go

i think it makes it look like you have know idea what you are doing  :)

Description - This build came into fruition after I realized that running 4 GPUs on air, in a rendering machine that is meant to run constantly for 24 hours at 80C was not a good idea! Being that this is my first water cooling build there were a lot of challenges, the biggest one was, getting 4 radiators (3 x 240mm & 1 x 120mm) to fit inside my Corsair Air 540. I ended cutting out the drive trays at the bottom on the case with a dremel. Fortunately for me that was the most difficult part of this rig--everything else required just a bit of planning before executing, but it was intimidating.

Description : This was the first PC that struck me deeply on ideas and way to evolve for watercooling. There are a lot of acrylic tubing rig out there, but there are only few in my country, Malaysia. So I decided to build this rig to achieve a word that cannot be describe system, then the Mr.TuF 2.0 is born. I used less than 24 hours to build this rig because rushing for the same week LAN party that was going on.

Pretty sure he means you only need one of them. The second sli bridge slot is for connecting card two to card 3 and then card 3 to card 4 if you have a 4th. Try running it with just the one bridge. From what I understand that is how it works.

AMD FX 8350, ASUS Sabertooth 990fx R2.0, Crucial Ballistix Tracer 4x4GB 1866, PNY GTX780, Corsair HX850, Phantom 630, Samsung 120GB SSD, WD Black 2TB HDD

Rest in peace, legend.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, Gigabyte RTX 3070, 32GB RAM, 4TB Samsung SSD, and a crippling depression that causes me to buy games and not play them lol

You can have both connected and it doesn't negatively affect performance. IMO it looked odd having the extra connectors not covered, but you are correct there are 2 connectors so that you can run 3 or 4 way SLI
