Can't connect to VPN on Ubuntu 14.04

So, I have an interesting problem. I can see all my VPN connections (and they aren't greyed out), but when I click on any one of the profiles, nothing happens. I've rebooted many times, updated Ubuntu to the latest updates, restarted and re-installed OpenVPN and the network manager many times, but nothing has worked. A video is included to show what happens.

can you show us your VPN configs? (delete server ip,username password ,certificates etc..)
