Age when you got your first PC

I haven't built a computer yet (I'm 17) but it's getting close, my first paycheck (ever) came in today, it went for a nexus 4 but the next ones will go for an awesome build.

Ah, ok, cause I was going to say, a 1200w PSU is overpowered for the rig in your sig :P

Around 8 I built some crappy pc out of spare parts, it had an Athlon 64 x2, some MSI board, 7300gs and 1gb of ram.

I remember upgrading from a Pentium 4 3ghz with 512mb of ram and a Geforce 4, back when 512mb of ram was a big difference in what your computer could and couldn't do, it was just amazing.

A couple of years after that my mobo failed and I built my actual first build from scratch, 2gbs of ram, a q8200, geforce 9400gt, again, the difference just blew my mind, I eventually upgraded that 9400gt to a 550ti, and the 2gb to 4gb, then switched over to z77 but kept the gpu, although that build is still in my closet, it still runs most stuff you throw at it, so i'm pretty proud of that being my 1st build from scratch.

Main Rig: 2500k @ 4.5Ghz, 2x4gb of ram @ 1600mhz, P8Z77-M, GTX 760

Crappy old laptop: Toshiba Tecra A6 PTA61E, 2x512mb of ram @ 533mhz, Intel C2D @ 1.83Ghz

A completely new build: 16 because I couldn't afford one earlier, but I have been taking apart and rebuilding old builds since I was around 12 (possibly earlier, not sure :D).

Sorry to geek out but I had one of those and they are 65nm Conroe CPU's and they are 1.86GHz, Wolfdale (Penryn is the mobile version) was 45nm ;)
