Just stopped playing last month. I play it in periods of time whenever I feel like it, mostly during the winters though.

That said, my thoughts about the matter is that: Lately so many new MMO's have been released, and the players gotta come from somewhere, right? So every time a new one releases, it takes a small chunk of the WoW population with it. Another thing, the last period I played. I realized that the amount of gold sellers was nearly non-existent on my server (however som are replaced by RBG boosters.) So I guess many of the gold sellers have moved to other games as well

Cause everyone is playing GW2!

Just kidding, its been the same after every wow expansion. You buy it, finish to new content and then it's just the same old again. There really aren't many new MMOs that offer some sort of massive change to the market (GW2) as every MMO nowadays is just either a grind fest or massively unbalanced with cash shop items. I'm not surprised people eventually got bored.

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?
