More fan questions!

 

Some Yellow fans

All of the reviews are really good, so my question is if this would be good for 3-6 Case fans.

 

Would this fan be any good for my EVO 212?

 

 

If not, I'll just get Gentle Typhoons.

And maybe attempt to paint the blades.

 

Eh Akasa....

 

and painting the blades can knock off the balance of the fans. That would suck for expensive Typhoons.... 

 

Why not just get regular Corsair SP fans with black blades and paint the color ring thing yellow. Thats enough subtle yellow.

I've got 2 SP120's on my rad and they're not too loud at all. I've used the voltage step down adapter and taken them down to about 1100 RPM each through corsair link and only real sound is the air being pushed through that you can hear. I have 3 Phanteks PH-F140HP's on order which I'm using to replace my Fractal stock fans and apparently they're very good on noise and hoping they make my PC even more silent than it is which is more than bearable currently with it's gentle hum of air if you get what I mean..

Either way, I really like the look of these fans, and I'm

interested in these as I've seen tons of people using

them in their builds.

They beat out the famed NF-F12 in temps in most reviews and are a bit quieter to boot. If I were buying some new fans these would definitely be at the top of my list.

NB eLoops have mounting issues as the fan blades protrude slightly past the frame so there are times when you mount them they won't spin because they are hitting something.

That's where they are right now on my list.  :P

That won't be a problem for me.

One thought though, is who did you paint over the sticker on your memory? How did the sides come out? Paint job on your gpu looks great btw.

the answer is very, very detailed and very difficult to exp...- I was lazy.

Erggg i'm so jealous at those monitors

I'm using dualmonitors aswel.. The primary one is 24" full hd, and the second one is just.. A terrible piece of shit, 4:3 1024 x 768 -__- o well..

but do you realize you have airflow fan on your EVO ? The NF-S12 is airflow/case oriented fan iirc. (btw the fans ruin the system as some1 said before :D get those Typhoons and paint them or SP120s but this is grows lol )

 

also i would like to defend the quite edition of Corsair SP120 fans abit...they are NOT that loud as people makes them. i have 8 of them in my system, CPU fans controled by MOBOs PWM and for case fans iam using Speedfan to get the right speeds. 

 

At idle i cant hear them at all, they are running at 400-600 RPM idle, i did let them go up to 1250RPM at load which makes them audible but you dont need those kind of RPM seeing that you are using ULNAdapters with those Noctua fans anyways so you will be fine with 400-700 RPM max i would say.

 

They look really super cool with yellow rings (JayZs personal rig anyone ? )

Methinks somebody's getting dat corsair RGB keyboard...

The noctuas clash wonderfully with your yellow scheme.  At least to my colorblind eyes they do.
