My PC turns off 10 sec after I push the power button.

zonetrooper90

Hey guys!

Yesterday I got new components for my PC, but after I installed my new PSU and Corsair H60, my PC wouldn't start... When I press the power button, the PSU, the H60 and the case fans start up, but after 10 seconds it turns off again, and the starts once more... it keeps doing it, and I have no idea what to do...

I hope you guys can help me...

Check the contact between your CPU and H60! Reapply thermal compound and try to make sure that the H60 is touching your CPU properly. :) Happened to me when I changed coolers.

Best of Luck!

Check if u have your powercables properly connected to your mobo since u have a new psu and make sure that your H60 is connected to your CPU fan connector... and as RDilux said clearing your CMOS is good idea too...

1) Then maybe he should check his power connectors that they are fully plugged in.

2) Clear C-mos

3) Check if RAM is Connected properly and snuggly

4) if all else fail PANIC! I'm Kidding. If your Mobo has on board Diagnostics try to check whats up

5) Try checking contact again. :)

This seems like an improper power delivery. Make sure that the power cables are fully plugged in.

@RDilux

I use ASRock Z77E-ITX with Intel Core i5-3570K

@All

I tried clearing the CMOS but it didnt help, so I took it apart and assembled it again, and it started working... though, what I don't understand is why it worked now, and not the other times I tried to do the same thing?

@nitrousoxide10

I tried my old PSU but it didn't work... but it's working now...
