I was all about Browns when I had a G710+ (still have it but not in use) until I got a K70 with Blues.

I Prefer MX Blues from what I have used (Reds, Blues and Razer Clickys (green iirc)).  The Razer switch is a good experience though, just a litte quieter than my blues were, and with a little higher activation point (Bad, as I like to bottom out the switch, which is useless, and the high activation point can lead to typing errors).

I feel you, bro. But my HP membrane keyboard sounds so good, like a real mechanical one. Probably because I broke it in after 3 years.

 

But I love the Blues.

How are buckling springs? Never used them.

They are heavier (around 80g actuation) than blues and the bump when depressing them is nearly absent. The MX Greens are made to simulate the buckling springs. I just prefer them for the absense of the bump when releasing the keys.

MX Clears have quickly become my favourite switch, they are exactly what I thought Browns would be.

If I was a little more handy with Soldering, I'd be tempted to swap the springs out to have Ergo-Clears, but I think over time the increased force required should help me stop bottoming out as much.

 

Still like Browns for some uses, Clears are a teensy bit to heavy currently for gaming for me. Not sure how my fingers would  enjoy a couple of hours spamming abilities in WoW on Clears.

MX Clears and rubber domes. Clears are exactly what I wanted from a mechanical keyboard. I still like rubber domes because that covers scissor switches; I'd love a high-end scissor switch board. Rubber domes also cover Topre, and I'd love to try one of those someday.

I've used Cherry MX Blues (CM Storm QFS), MX Reds (Corsair K65) and tried MX Browns on the G710+ at Canada Computers and of course Rubberdomes.

 

By far the I've enjoyed Browns the most as the typing experience is amazing (Like Blues) and it's relativley quiet (like Reds), I don't mind a good rubberdome either like a Dell SK-8115 (IMO it is the king of Rubberdomes).

Out of interest, have you ever given Cherry MLs a go? They feel like what I'd imagine a well build scissor switch would feel like. I have two Cherry G84-4100 keyboards that use ML switches, If it wasn't for the annoyingly small form factor (die ten-keyless, die!)and the terrible habit of ML switches getting stuck whenever you hit them off center, I'd definetly use them in day-to-day work.

I am definetly a Brown user, got a Corasir K70 with browns not too long ago and i have to say, some of the best feeling switches I've ever had the pleasure of using.

 

Blacks and Clears have always interested me though. They are a total nightmare to get hold of though.
