I like browns. Blue's have that audible click. Reds are too soft for productivity work IMO. 

 

Would like to try white's or blacks one day.

I love reds. They fit me perfectly and i can type pretty damn fast with them^^

Browns, hands down my favorite one, both my K70 and my CM Quickfire are amazing.

The shop I bought my parts from had one of those switch testers. If you're not going to visit any shops maybe ask your friends if you can try out their mech keyboards, if they have any. You can also order a tester.

I love the clickity-clack of blues but I currently have reds. Using a K70.

Blues are my favorite, but if I am around a bunch of people I would rather have browns.

I like blues but wanted something heavier so I got greens. love them.

It can have a subtle click but is inconsistent, on a keyboard with Whites, you may have some keys that have a regular click, while others may be more subtle. The Whites on my DS3 Yellow Ed has a more consistent subtle click, however, the Whites on my just acquired KBParadise V60 Mini Cherry White sound quite loud, sounds about the same as the Greens on my other KBParadise V60 Mini.

 

Below is a shot of the Whites on my Yellow Ed, note the little nub just to the right of the stem, Clears with white stem do not have this.

BTW, I had voted Clear as my fave Cherry MX switch......but the irony is that while I have multiple Blues, Browns, Whites, Greens.....I have only one board with Clears.

Clears>Browns>Blues>Blacks>Green>reds

 

I'd game on any of them except reds. I'd rather stick to a membrane then reds, like my razer deathstalker I use in my KB rotation.

 

Clears are my fav.

Even Brown w/o orings feel mushy to me, I used to like Browns but not anymore. IF I were to be looking for a keyboard with tactile feedback but no clickity-click, I'd rather get a Clear. Awesome stiffness, and a more pronounced 'bump' than Browns, way more satisfying to use. If there's no Clear and it were down to Browns or Blacks, I'd take the latter, I prefer stiffer switch types and can deal with lack of tactile feedback.

I have never owned a mechanical keyboard, honestly. But from what I've used (Cherry MX Reds/Blues/Blacks), I prefer the Reds. Still using a rubber dome currently.
