Ultimate Hackintosh Workstation Build Guide

For years folks have been asking me to do a Hackintosh build guide. I've always put it off because 1) It's a lot of work and 2) I never cared to own a machine that runs OSX.

Well I solved problem number 1 by having @Slick do it, and I soved problem number 2 by.... Okay I didn't solve that, but whatever we built one :P

I'm going to list out the components as well as provide a source or two for where you can get them  :)

I can't tell you where to buy this stuff, but I do lean towards NCIX for the Canadians (and International viewers if their pricing and shipping costs work out for you) because they're my bros, and for Americans, Brits, and a couple other regions, the Amazon links below are affiliate links, so of course every little bit helps  :)

I hate to jump in so early (I actually love to), but the link redirects to "My Videos", and the text isn't Dark Theme-friendly.

I'm still excited, though.

As much as I know that you are disinterested in OS X, I am happy to see this an OS X fan myself.

Happens to the best of us. Just Ctrl-A and click on the Text Color button (the button directly to the right of the Size drop-down that looks like an A with a color palette) and then click on Automatic.

Ha, the build looks similar to my build, wish I had those custom sleeved cables though.

Love the guide on how to set up a hackintosh though, very useful for those who want to get into OSX.

Can I dual boot Mac OS and Windows 8.1? It's seems like I have everything to do it.

Yes that's possible but a seperate HDD would be better.

@LinusTech

I have heard you mention the Tonymacx86 method before in discussion about hackintosh. Why didn't you go with that one over this one? Its a lot easier to configure.

Great video by the way, you guys have been teasing it for like a year and its finally nice to see it :)

Also, I think you should do the iSwitched to OSx ;)

Would be interesting to watch.

@lani100

Would Niresh be to download the OS? I'm lucky enough that my mom has a Macbook with Mavericks :D

Yes, niresh is the osx with all the kernels and drivers built in after that you run Unibeast for any missing ones. :)
