Corsair "Black Dawn" ~By BloodWithIce (In progress)

BloodWithIce

Which D5? You can get a pump top for that or just put them on and zip tie the tube down.

Does it matter which one is the in and out?

Any reason for the res being on it side? What's the plan when you go to fill it?

Just for the looks actually. I'll use a 90 degree fitting on one of the fill ports and then just close it after I'm done.

So, I got really lucky with my cpu block, because the two fittings are so large that barely fit in there. At first I thought it wasn't going to work, but it all turned out nicely.
Tomorrow I'm getting my tubing and fitting delivered, so hopefully the build will be ready by tomorrow :3

Okay. So if the in and out on the blocks is correct (on some blocks it may differ!) it seems alright :) you COULD think about 45° fittings from pump to gpu, but beside that its nice =)

do you need the optical bays? you could also turn the rad 180° and then go, pump -> gpu -> cpu -> rad -> res -> pump =) but thats personal taste =)

I think the order of the gpu is right. Unfortunately, the D5 has barbed fittings so you can't mount compression fittings on it. And I really cbf taking the rivets out ahah

This is how it looks now!

That Palit card looks sexy as hell. it would be ideal in a rig with a ASUS board and some corsair gold ram

  • 2 weeks later...

So, my 780 broke and I'm getting it replaced. In the meantime, I'll try to paint the side panel.
