So 3 weeks until Fire Emblem Fates is released and the special edition still hasn't gone up for pre-order. Wondering if they're even going to release it at this point. Which makes me really sad, because of the goodies you get with it and it's cheaper than getting all three campaigns by themselves.

Is this normal? Ubuntu picks up the wireless adapter, but doesn't find any networks. I wonder how much tinkering will be needed after I install it to get it working.

Gamestop just recently cancelled all their pre-orders after Nov. 19th and I tried to at Bestbuy but they said it isn't even in their system (despite it being on their website).

My SSD is coming in the mail today.   It's a 240gb one, right?  Here's what I want to do.  Fedora Workstation Gets as minimal space as possible, Windows 10 Pro gets the rest, right? How do I do this properly, and how do I let them split the 3TB storage drive?

Looks like @Vitalius pretty much got you covered.

I've never installed a redhat based distro before so I might be off but I imagine the absolute max you would ever need is 50gb for the fedora partition. And that would still leave probably more then ~30gb for storage even with pretty much everything installed. I am using about 18gb right now and I have two compilers installed (yay broken catalyst drivers). It might be bit more then that with a DE installed but  probably not by much.

Not too sure. Network drivers always worked out of the box for me. In both ubuntu and other distros like arch. So the drivers I needed were built into the kernel.

Now after searching around for a bit those should drivers should be in the kernel. So you should be able to use modprobe to load the module

sudo modprobe -r rtl8723be #makes sure its unloadedsudo modprobe rtl8723be

Apparently the driver for that adapter is kinda broken so if you lose connection you will just have to re-enter those two commands to reload it.

Now beyond that I'm not to familiar with the network manager ubuntu is using because for wireless in arch(when I was messing around on a laptop) I would use 'wifi-menu' which is a CLI manager that works quite well.

My doubts for this show have yet to be... deleted, but I'm still really enjoying this. The author certainly isn't shy, which is something I like in a story that's so easy to superficially criticize (like with the lead being 29 and being worried about his motivations toward his classmate). It's nice how they keep playing with the film reel motif, too, after all those butterflies in the first episode. There's really not much that I want to say otherwise. There are still some over-the-top tonal shifts, but it's so nice to see the lead acting instead of reacting that I don't really mind. Ultimately I'm still waiting to see if they've built a proper mystery here, since the clues they're shown could still be used in a number of ways. I've got my fingers crossed that the teacher's just a red herring, which would go a long way to letting me relax my own paranoia about the show's writing quality. But hey, at least they're pretty darn good at the emotional manipulation, even if the end of the episode is something that you should see coming a mile away. It could be worse: it could be Charlotte.

 

Loving it so far. I dare to say it may even be beating Boukyou(?) no Centimetre.

 

I really love how the author depicts his understanding that he's actually back in time knowing he's back in time through when MC speaks in his head and simultaneously spurts it out. 

 

I kinda like the op to ERASED.

 

It's growing on me.

 

 

I prefer not having to zoom in for the small text, so I only read it on my tablet. I prefer it to reading on PC, too. Nice to be able to swipe the pages, rather than use your keyboard. 

 

Got 4 series on the go right now: Deadman Wonderland, Akatsuki no Yona, Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji and Jitsu wa Watashi wa.

 

Akatsuki no Yona is definitely worth reading. There's an anime adaptation, but it only goes to about chapter 41 of over 100 so far.

One thing I get with desktops is that everything has to match color-wise minus the programs I'm using, so that just before I shut the thing down or when I leave it idle that desktop looks beautiful.

 

The wallpaper is black and gold, yet you have random colors for your icons. The contrast makes me feel awkward.

Exactly my thoughts. Soo-Won, regardless of the motivation that lead him towards corruption, replaced something she'd lost. If I recall correctly, her father was so busy as the king he rarely had time for her, but Soo-Won was the brother she never had, and she ended up falling for him.

I always struggle to find good Rainmeter skins. I literally only go for completely white ones though, and lots of them are tacky asf.

I took apart my pointless Kuwabara build, took the pipeline out of that+added the ssd I got in the mail into Vash.  What I'm going to do is make the SSD dedicated to Win10 then use pipeline for Either Arch or Ubuntu+Fedora.

I'm not a big enough fan to gain anything out of that sort of spin-off game. I'm partial to TellTale's games though, I thought it'd be a nice way to consume the story for a newbie to the lore and all that jazz. Thanks for the offer anyway!

Personally I wanted the mouse on the same red as my Strafe, and set both to FF0000 (pure red), but the color production of that mouse isn't really great. I literally leave it off apart from the DPI setting, which I allow to light up if I'm above or below my default.
