How to Fix GPU Sag (Semi Ghetto)

I need to take note of some of these for my Lightnings

do they sag?!

I thought they were super rigid!!

My GTX 460 does not have a backplate and it sags like a motherf*****...

@TheNinjaNextDor can we get a sharper pic of the back of the card? im not really sure where to wedge the bit of paper

I do dust my pc often but i have carpets and there is always going to be a fine layer of dust in my pc.

They are super rigid but they weigh almost 1.5kg each. That is a lot of weight on the bracket and PCI-e slot.

using 1/4in of dvi port to leverage a 10.5in graphics card, thats like a 42:1 leverage ratio, if we had a 42in:1 lifting ratio the average guy could bench 5670lb, thats equal to a range rover.
Of course this doesn't take into account that the leverage ratio gets easier closer to the pivot point (the pci brackets) and any benefit from the pcie slot....but still.
don't think there's a good replacement for a well made pcie bracket or a piece of fishing wire(or magicians) or even a thin color matched stick(to prop it up).
personally i think cards should be taller (i dont mean tripple slot) because there's usually a good inch or so between a graphics card and the side panel that could be used as cooling area that would reduce the length of cards and therefore reduce droop.
lots of cards overhang anyway...

Some graphic cards comes with a built in support bracket to prevent the card's PCB from warping not sagging.

Forget about the card, why is your board's i/o ports not aligned? Look at those audio ports.

Will a giant pile of ram cards work because that's all I have.
