Does this page ever get updated? Because it is pretty out of date for a catalogue.

Regardless this tutorial deserves an honourable mention.

p.s. @MG2R @Windspeed36 Could we have a major update for this thread where we add a lot (I really mean all) of the useful guides in this category so it becomes more like an index? On one of my favourite forums (The Fountain Pen Network) they have a massive thread with an alphabetised list of reviews for different pens and inks, so maybe something along those lines (only with guides and tuts instead of reviews).

If you guys still update the thread, please add the Core 2 overclocking guide seen here http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/232325-lga775-core2duo-core2quad-overclocking-guide/ and created by @harrynowl. Great guide, and plus, there are still people out there who use Core 2 Duos and Quads as their daily drivers and want to squeeze more power out of them.

its current as long as people are still using it and by the looks of it a fair few people are. i would have had to read many 775 guides to get all the information that i got from yours. the only other things i used was hwbot to find the names of all the different boards and a list of 775 bosd codes on ocn!

I added the latest recommendations to the list.

I know this list doesn't get updated very frequently, but that's mostly because the mod team generally doesn't have time to go through this section of the forum. If you see stuff that's of high quality/in-depth and should be in here just put it in a comment and some member of the mod team will check it out :)

Thanks!

Are those BIOS settings? If you're trying to solve a specific problem, please make a thread in the Troubleshooting section. Be sure to read the relevant stickies first ;)
