Eyefinity 4th display with passive adapter.

Hello, first time posting here so let me know if i made any mistakes.

I recently got a new TV and i realized that it would be a good idea to plug it on my PC to watch movies with it since it's bigger than my monitors.

Currently i have 3 monitors plugged into my graphics card, DVI-D, HDMI and Mini-DP to DVI with an active adapter.

My question is, can i plug my TV into my graphics card using a passive Mini-DP to HDMI adapter ? since i won't be Eyefinity with that display my guess is that this setup won't cause any trouble.

I still intend to use Eyefinity from time to time, will that 4° display with a passive adapter be any problem even if it's not part of the Eyefinity display group ?

I was looking into getting something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Mini-DisplayPort-HDMI-Adapter-Cable/dp/B003OC6LWM

Would that work ?

Any help is appreciated.

For Eyefinity ie 3 screens to work you need 1 active display port

I think as long as you have that you should be fine! :)

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

It works I have connected my 3 monitors and TV to my computer before, the sizing is all weird though.
