Noctula should develop a taste in colour. At least make everything black. Black goes with almost everything.

so if you have all your RAM on 1 side of your mobo you can have 2 fans on it and still be able to put high profile RAM, that seems perfect for me since im planning to get a mobo that has all RAm on the same side of the mobo instead of 2, can't wait till its in the stores.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

All I really need is a GPU heatsink that is quite and keeps my GPU cooler then it is at the moment. I would love to see Noctua make a universal GPU heatsink for most graphics cards. I think that would be really cool. I have an EVGA 680 Classified and it can get a bit load with my custom fan graph but on the default it gets warmer then I like it. 65ish on it's current OC.

I've already replaced my heatsink around a month ago, oh well. For a new product, though, I'd have expected it to not look the same as the previous model, only with cut outs for obnoxiously tall ram. Seems like Noctua is gonna take the Porsche approach to design. :P

why bother

the alternatives are cheaper and performs about the same

Really? Please, tell us which alternative is cheaper, quieter and performs better than the Noctua NH-D14.

The RAM clearance is nice and dandy, but you'll have to mount your fans just as high, so you effectiveley loose cooling performance in the bottom. Not much, but it's there. I am also curious about clearance with graphics cards, espeically if the to most slot it already the main 16x slot.

who cares...

What's with their colour scheme, seriously I would buy them if they weren't so ugly.

Loving the high ram clearance!

Avatar and comment correlation is creepily high.

Hopefully this will sort of bring down the NH-D14 price so I'll be able to get it. :D The ram clearance feature is pretty nice but wonder if it will affect the cooling a bit. But I don't think it will because they have widened their heatsink.
