PSU With Two 8-Pin CPU connectors?

I'm looking for a power supply for a server motherboard, specifically the Z8NR-D12. It needs two 8-pin CPU connectors. Can someone make me a recommendation?

It'll be running two x5650 CPUs and 48 GB of memory with an SSD (just running an ESXi machine with networked storage). So probably a minimum of 400W.

Can be either.

I know that my PSU has dual CPU 8 pins.

AX850, which is too much wattage.

Too much wattage isn't a problem, but I would prefer one with less maximum power. Mostly for cost, partially for power efficiency.

Does the HX 850 have two CPU connectors? It's much more reasonably priced.

I believe it does. Not 100% sure though.

In that case, I think the AX series has them. The HX might, but I would consult Corsair's website.

I'm, not completely sure, but I would think so.

I know the AX series has one CPU power that uses the same port on the PSU as a GPU would and another one that uses it's own area.

most of the major manufacturers with 850watt or more use a dual 8-oin EPS harness.

If you can use a 660 watt theres seasonic platinum xp2 660. Even if you're using less wattage it should be very efficient because of the platinum rating.

Also seasonic xp2 PSUs happen to be pretty much the best in the world right now according to an anandtech article :)

Almost any 600watt PSU and higher has two 8 pin connectors. Some lower wattage PSUs have them as well but they are normally expensive.

no it does not have dual 8-pin EPS/CPU power connections. you might be able to rig an adapter from the PCIe/GPU harnesses.

i think he was asking about EPS (CPUx 2) and not GPU 8-pin. totally different pin out and connectors. most consumer graded PSU have just one EPS power until 850w+.

Are you certain? From the specifications it looks like there is an 8-pin connector and a 4+4 pin connector:

Plus a whole lot of others and a 10 year warranty. It is one of the top rated psu's there is.

The XFX XTR 550W is a great quality, gold efficiency power supply that has two 8-pin CPU power connectors. https://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550bbefx  http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/6022/xfx-xtr-550-watt-80-plus-gold-power-supply-review/index4.html

Come on guys, the topic's from April of last year.

For those interested, I went with the Seasonic S12II Bronze 520W. It does have two 8-pin CPU connectors (one is a 4+4), and worked with my board.
