Hard disk problems

Go to solution Solved by JamesDwho,

If you can try doing a Disk Check

Hey my PC recently have boot up problems my OS and main programs are installed on a kingston V200 SSD and I have another 1TB WD green SATA 3. the 1TB hard disk has been partitioned into 2 D and E drive

So here's the problem, my PC started booting extremely slower than usual plus when it manages to go to the desktop when I open my computer I cant open my local disk D and windows explorer will stop responding.

So can I confirm that the hard disk is damaged ? and its time to change the hard disk to a new one ?

btw, I am new to this forum thing so if I posted in a wrong place or something please do tell me :)

first make sure that your sata cables are fine and then check the power connectors...

What I would do is boot PMagic from my USB drive and check the state of my drives.

you could download 'Crystal Disk Info' and see if the drive is still being fully detected by your motherboard
