This one's a little bit different, even for my taste. That said, I love the guitar in this song.

Sorry in advance; this is another long one because I love music far too much. ❤️ ? If you're going to quote it, please be sure to keep only the text + videos you're replying to, then strip out the remaining text + videos.

While I'm not normally much for heavily auto-tuned pop bands, something about Fickle Friends musical style, videography, and lyrics just get me so good, so I'll let the auto-tune slide. They make some catchy tunes for those moments I just want to lay back and bob my head lightly.

Beings - Madeon

Oh man, first couple Madeon songs I fell in love with were his mashup of 39 songs from 2011 and 2013's Technicolor. We were driving through the interior of BC when Technicolor decided to show itself on my Soundcloud feed, and my oh my would it ever be the perfect song to drive around the city at night to.

And now you've got me on a YouTube rewind of its' own kind, because my suggestion feed is going nuts recommending tracks I absolutely love when they came out years ago.

Dude, what's with you and the cover tracks/songs/bands? Post the originals please... The original artists and producers are rolling in their graves right now.  ?

Umm, you do know that music (like most things in life) is entirely subjective, right? While I won't go as far as to say these covers are better than the original, I will indeed agree with some original artists who say the cover versions are better than their own...

Oh, my, I haven't heard real R&B since ... well, the late 90's / early 00's, and with a decently constructed video, too. This takes me back to the days when videos weren't garbage heaps of ADHD inducing jump-cut scenes whose only purpose is to sell sex, drugs, and ... well, not even rock and roll anymore.

An ex introduced me to The Script many, many years ago, and to this day they still hit me right where it hurts. She didn't share tracks like this to hurt me; instead, it taught me a form of compassion through music that I might not have otherwise experienced. I appreciate every song I experience through friends, family, & acquaintances because music creates a memory of a moment, providing a foothold to hang onto when the going gets tough.

And since they're Irish, you've got me thinking about my other favorite Irish band Kodaline. plays any of the below videos, instantly begins crying. Oh right, that's why I don't listen to much Kodaline anymore. No but seriously, some of their videos tell a story than films that premiere at Sundance, although can leave you absolutely destroyed if you're caught off guard. You've been warned.

Oh hey, it's that Cassadee who went on from Hey Monday to audition for The Voice S03, ending up being the first female vocalist to win, to boot. :) To be fair, I too didn't know of Hey Monday prior to the family watching her on The Voice in the background of our living room, but as soon as I heard that voice I had to break out the Google. Enjoy her audition & winning songs below.

FYI you don't need to post a billion times - one post every so often containing 3-5 songs you're jamming out to is fine.

Right on the usual schedule, I'll share the newly discovered band I'm enjoying right now. They come from a beloved record label called Nuclear Blast who brought you albums from other artists such as Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, Blind Guardian, Sabaton, oh and Nightwish. They remind me of a mixture of 1980's glam rock, symphonic power metal, and progressive rock, with elements of 80's synthwave sprinkled in here and there. Feel free to give them a listen and tell me what you think!

Six Degrees of Separation is a reminder of all of my failed relationships and me being the common denominator

There is more that meets the eye
I see the soul that is inside

I've come to expect good things when I see the Nuclear Blast logo on a thumbnail. Eluveitie was signed to them a while back too.

Posting this again because relevance and I love this song.

New band? Similar to Epica in that it has minimal/no "metal" vocals that I heard, clean vocals with epic/orchestral elements. Pretty nice.
